A range of thermally insulated outer jackets designed to be mounted to ducting that is located outside of the thermal envelope of a building. The Thermosleeve range is offered in two thicknesses of glass wool insulation - 25mm (Thermosleeve 25) and 50mm (Thermosleeve 50) and offers a thermal conductivity of less 0.004W/mK, complying with SAP 10.2 standards, making it an ideal energy efficient solution for domestic and commercial applications. Consists of an aluminium laminate outer jacket and a glass wool insulation layer which prevents condensation build-up and minimises heat loss in ductwork.
Designed with installers in mind, there is a protective polyester film Barrier that simplifies the mounting, saving both time and preventing unnecessary contact with the glass wool layer. The protective Barrier can be fixed to the ductwork with tape on one end, and pulled from the other end of the duct through the Thermosleeve insulation jacket, while a second installer guides and holds the Thermosleeve in place.
